What we collect

Your account details, your profile as you write it, and the records that come from running a membership site: sign-ins, subscription payments, and moderation history. Payment cards are handled by our payment processor; we do not store card numbers.

Every member completes identity verification through a verification vendor's own hosted process. Your identity documents go to that vendor, not to us — they never touch our servers. We receive the outcome of the check, not the documents.

Where your data lives

Our servers are in Germany. If you join from the United States, Canada, or anywhere else, your data is stored in Germany and has German data residency. That is a deliberate choice, and we would rather say it here than have you find out later.

Deletion

You can delete your account, and deletion means deletion — with two exceptions, stated plainly. Billing and tax records are kept, because the law requires it. Ban and audit records are kept, so that a member removed for cause cannot erase the record of why. Everything else goes.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal data.
