SolaSingles

Ladies always free.

SCRIPTURA | GRATIA | FIDE | CHRISTUS | DEO GLORIA

Not a promotion, and not a courtesy — a conviction.

Scripture lays the weight of pursuit and provision on the man: to lead, provide, protect, and sacrifice (1 Timothy 5:8; Ephesians 5:25). So here the man carries the cost from the first dollar, and a woman never pays to be found.

Biblical masculinity and femininity are matters of character, duty, and obedience to God. That has very little to do with trucks and hunting on one side, or dresses and baking on the other. The way to find a wife you can lead is to be a man worth following. The way to find a husband you can follow is to be a woman worth leading.

How people meet here

Concept preview: The Travel Trunk room on a tablet

Where most sites hand you a search box, SolaSingles opens in the Fellowship Hall: rooms for books, for cooking, for gardening, for chess, for movies, for theology — living conversations you join because you would join them anyway. You get to know people the way people have always gotten to know each other: naturally, over something you both love, with marriage as the honest horizon.

It is the shape of the communities everyone already loves — a covenant community of single believers — and nothing like it has ever been done in the Calvinist singles world.

Filtering & matching

Concept preview: a matching screen on a tablet — a top match at 97%, with a table of preference criteria such as baptism, confession, psalmody, children and eschatology, above a ranked list of further profiles each with a percentage score.

See the whole community on a map, or scroll through every member — it is all there to be found.

You never have to filter at all: everyone visible, everyone reachable, and any member free to talk with any other.

Or draw lines. Filter by location, by denomination, by conviction — by almost anything. Set a conviction as a requirement and the site enforces it: men who do not meet your requirements never appear among your matches, and — if you so choose — cannot see your profile or start a private conversation with you at all. The rooms of the Fellowship Hall stay common ground: anyone can talk with anyone there.

Decide who sees your profile and who can message you.

Who can join

Membership is for single believers, eighteen and older, in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Every member — men and women alike — verifies their identity before their profile goes live.

Everyone is identity-verified by a dedicated third-party verification provider.

Doctrinal statement

A row of worn leather-bound volumes standing upright on a dark wooden desk by candlelight — John Calvin's Institutes of the Christian Religion, a volume of Creeds, the Church Fathers, Bunyan's Works and The Imitation of Christ — with an open book lying in front of them and three tied manuscript scrolls beside them

One doctrinal statement is the door. Read it now, before you sign — every member affirms it in full, and it means what it says.

We wrote it to be precise on purpose. A vague statement of faith is an open door — sites that ask only "are you a Christian?" admit every error the word Christian can be stretched around. Ours says what it affirms and names what it rejects, so the errors that slip through elsewhere do not slip through here.

That is the floor everyone here stands on.

Everyone screened for orthodoxy.

Position papers

Above that floor, faithful believers differ: baptism, the church, the millennium. Members state their positions plainly, and for each position the site keeps one careful paper, written to be fair enough that the people who hold it would own it.

Positions do real work here. A credobaptist woman can require that a paedobaptist man read the site's paper on believer's baptism before his first message reaches her — he confirms he has read it, and the conversation opens. Understanding comes before conversation.

Application review

Most members go live upon completion. Three situations get a personal read from us first.

An identity check that fails.

It stops at that step, and a live person sorts it out — nobody is bounced by a machine.

No church membership to name.

Faithful believers are sometimes between congregations, and many missionaries serve where a membership roll cannot follow. If that is you, you write your story in your own words, and we read it ourselves.

A past divorce.

Remarriage is not treated lightly here. Faithful churches differ on it, and we do not pretend to settle what they have not — your church's judgment carries real weight at our door. Each case is weighed personally, against Scripture, before that profile ever goes live. If you have paperwork that tells the story, upload it with your application; if not, we take it case by case.

The last two never interrupt your application — you finish it start to end, and we read the whole thing before your profile goes live. Either way, you will hear from us in hours, not days. We start on your case right away — where it depends on someone beyond us, it can take longer, but it never sits in a queue.

No empty profiles. A profile does not go live until it is complete.

Under the church — yours

A leather-bound Bible resting on a polished table in the foreground, with a group of men meeting around a table behind it, out of focus, in a wood-panelled room

SolaSingles doesn't stand outside the church, and it doesn't stand beside it. It stands underneath it — underneath yours: your church, whose rulings we honor at our door.

Every member names their church at signup — it is required. That name stays private — it never appears on the site or on any profile unless the member chooses to show it — but it means nobody here is an anonymous stranger accountable to no one. A believer with no membership to name writes their story instead, and it goes to review.

The badge is a second layer on top of that, and it is entirely optional. You apply for it and we contact your church directly. Once your church confirms, a dated verified badge appears on your profile — a visible mark that a church stands behind you. It never says which church, unless you choose to show it.

Asking for it never slows anything down. Your profile goes live on its own schedule, and nothing waits on the call.

How we treat each other

Every community has rules, and most are written to prevent hurt feelings. Ours is written to protect people — and those are not the same thing. The standard here is the ninth commandment (Exodus 20:16): no false witness. Nobody will be slandered here, gossiped about, or talked about behind their back. Nobody will be mocked, twisted into something they never said, or given a label instead of an answer.

And the same commandment protects the honest. You can disagree here — plainly, to someone's face, in love — and you will not be reported for it, because disagreement is not a sin, it is fellowship. Everyone here reads a brother's words in the best light they will bear, and everyone is treated as family, because that is what we are.

Every member agrees to our Code of Conduct at the door. It is the reason a shy person can speak here, and a bold person can be corrected here, and both go home still friends.

Our Code of Conduct protects those who speak the truth and ensures that everyone is treated like a brother.

When conflict arises

When sin or conflict arises, it's handled the way Scripture directs, and every member affirms the same thing at the door: go to the person first, between you and him alone, speak the truth in love, seek repentance and restoration (Matthew 18:15; Ephesians 4:15). We will follow Matthew 18. And when a matter is serious enough to need more than us, it goes back where it belongs — to your church.

Church discipline means something here: a member removed by their church is removed from this community (Matthew 18:17). We are not a substitute for your church, and we refuse to act like one.

And when something in the Fellowship Hall needs attention, nobody files a ticket into the void. The flag goes straight to our phones. This community is moderated by its staff, personally. If we're awake, we're on our way.

Built for protection

A woman, an older man and a younger man seated around a dining table in a lamplit, book-lined room, talking over an open Bible, handwritten notes and coffee mugs

Free for women, always — and built with their protection in mind from the first line. Everyone is identity-verified. Reports are read by people, not machines. A block is absolute.

Accountability is welcome here, not designed out. A woman can bring her father, or her elders, alongside as she gets to know someone — involvement is encouraged, and always at her invitation.

Built to a standard

Nothing here opens half-built. The site and the apps are made the way professionals make things — carefully, thoroughly, tested end to end — and built according to Biblical standards: honest work, honestly finished, before anyone is asked to pay for it (Colossians 3:23).

Notifications are yours to control — you decide what you are told about, and when: right away, in digests, with quiet hours, with a Lord's Day/Sabbath mode. And they actually arrive. When someone writes to you, you will know — nobody here discovers a message three weeks too late.

iPhone and Android apps arrive with launch — real, finished apps, built to the same standard as the site.

How launch works

The doors are not open yet. The site opens in three stages, so that nobody ever walks into an empty room.

Stage one — the line. Signing up now is buying your ticket early. You complete your profile, hold your place, and wait with everyone else until one hundred men are in line.

Stage two — the Fellowship Hall. At one hundred men the doors are flung open and everyone walks in together. Everyone meets in the rooms — conversation over books, gardens, chessboards and theology — and same-sex members can view each other's profiles and build friendships. It is a singles community first — a hall of believers who know each other's minds before courtship begins. Matching, cross-profile viewing and private messaging are held back on purpose while the community grows toward one thousand men.

Stage three — launch. At one thousand men, matching opens. Every profile, every match, every message — all at once — and billing begins. Nobody is charged before launch.

Membership & price

A man at a desk beside a bright window in a book-lined room, holding a bank card in one hand and reaching for an open laptop with the other

Free for women — always, not as a promotion. Men: $29.99 a month.

That is the only plan: a recurring monthly subscription, cancellable at any time. Cancelling stops all future charges.

And here is our whole heart on that number: if thirty dollars a month would strain you, then courtship, a wedding, and a family would finish you — this is the cheapest thing marriage will ever ask of you. We say that with a smile, but we mean it.

There is no free tier, and there never will be. Pause your membership and your profile disappears until you're back — nothing about you shows. We built it that way on purpose: it means every man a woman meets here has already decided that finding a wife is worth something to him. That's not a paywall. That's a filter.

It also means the people you meet here are actually here. A free site fills up with abandoned profiles — people who drifted off, lost interest, or quietly married — and never clears them out.

Billing for men begins on launch day, never before — signing up ahead of launch charges nothing.

There are no refunds. Every appeal is read by a person — write to admin@solasingles.app. Full billing terms are in the terms.

No stale profiles. A profile begins to fade at 30 days and by 90 days it is gone.

Promises

Five things this site will never do — written down so they can be held against us.

No swiping.

People are not cards, and finding a spouse is not a reflex game.

No scoreboards.

No points, no streaks, no scores, no rankings — nothing to climb, ever.

No teasing.

No blurred photos, no "someone likes you — pay to find out who."

No free tier for men.

Men pay from the first day. No man sees a single woman's profile without paying.

No cancellation maze.

Leaving is as plain as joining. No retention maze, no guilt screen, no hidden button.
